Ethereum will be moving to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) in an event known as "The Merge". This event will occur when the Terminal Total Difficulty of the Ethereum Network reaches 58750000000000000000000, and is not a specific date/time. This event is expected to begin sometime on 2022-09-14 or 2022-09-15.
During the event, we do not expect any disruptions to trading or withdrawals.
As a precaution, we will pause the confirmation of deposits until The Merge event is completed.
We will monitor when it is safe to turn on confirmation of deposits based on finality of the “The Merge” block and updates from the Ethereum Foundation. Live updates will be provided here.
